Sustainability is a big topic, and an honest discussion leaves room for different opinions. We try to source as many materials as possible from Europe, and our products are developed, made and printed in Switzerland. From development to delivery, you'll find information on each topic on this page.
The short answer
Our products are developed, made and printed in Switzerland. The packaging – from the amber glass to the mailing box – comes from Europe, is FSC-certified wherever possible and is largely made from recycled material. Orders are sent with Swiss Post, whose electricity consumption is fully covered by renewable energy.

Local development of the formulations
To turn our ideas into reality, we work with a Swiss developer. This supports the local economy and minimises the distance samples have to travel.

The finished formulations go to a contract manufacturer, who makes and fills our products. The same advantages apply here too.

We have our glass bottles screen-printed at a Swiss print shop. For ecological reasons, we chose single-colour printing.

Glass instead of plastic
Amber glass: attractive and recyclable
Of all the materials suitable for filling our cosmetic products, glass is the most sustainable resource. Of all the beautiful colours, we chose amber glass because it contains the largest amount of recyclable material. Our amber glass containers are made by a German company, and the material also comes from Germany.
Pipettes and pump dispensers
All bottle tops come from the same German manufacturer as the amber glass and are made of TPE and glass. The lotion pumps come from the European Union, while the material for the pipettes comes from Germany.
The packaging
FSC-certified and from Europe
FSC-certified mailing boxes
We source our mailing boxes from a Polish company. The boxes are made of FSC-certified material, printed in a single colour and consist of 90% recycled corrugated cardboard. According to the manufacturer, the boxes are made from wood from Polish forests, while the recycled corrugated cardboard comes from Europe.
Folding cartons
We source our folding cartons from the same supplier as the mailing boxes. The folding cartons are made of FSC-certified material and printed in a single colour.
Packing material made from recycled paper
To make sure our products arrive at your home undamaged, they need to be protected with packing material. For this, we use paper packing material from a German manufacturer, made from 100% recycled paper. The paper is chlorine- and acid-free and fully recyclable.
By the way: after unpacking, you can simply put the packing paper in your paper recycling – or reuse it as padding for your own parcels.
Thermal-printed postage labels
When we asked where the material comes from, we were told that it is sourced from a ‘European supplier’ and made in Belgium. The labels are finished with a thermal printer, which transfers the colour onto the labels using heat alone, without any ink.

Swiss Post as our delivery partner
Swiss Post operates some of the largest photovoltaic systems in Switzerland and aims to have an all-electric delivery fleet by 2030. All of its electricity consumption is already covered by renewable energy from Switzerland.
