2.1 When you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”). 3) Hosting & content delivery network

3.1 - Shopify

To host our website and display the page content, we use the system of the following provider: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (“Shopify”)

Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada, Shopify Data Processing (USA) Inc., Shopify Payments (USA) Inc. or Shopify (USA) Inc.

All data collected on our website is processed on the provider's servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider relies on standard contractual clauses of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), which are intended to ensure compliance with the Swiss level of data protection.

3.2 - Cloudflare

We use a content delivery network of the following provider: Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St. San Francisco, CA 94107, USA

This service enables us to deliver large media files such as graphics, page content or scripts faster via a network of regionally distributed servers. The processing is carried out to safeguard our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

4) Cookies

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information, such as browser and location data as well as IP address values, to an individual extent. 5) Contacting us

When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed. This is the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

6) Data processing when opening a customer account and for the performance of contracts

Personal data is collected and processed when you provide it to us for the performance of a contract or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. Your customer account can be deleted at any time; this can be done by sending a message to our address. We store and use the data you provide for the performance of the contract. After your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked in view of retention periods under tax and commercial law and deleted after these periods have expired, unless we can demonstrate an overriding interest in further processing within the meaning of Art. 31(2) FADP or a justification under law.

7) Use of your data for direct marketing

Subscribing to our e-mail newsletter

By providing your personal data, you consent to our using this data to send you newsletters.

We store your IP address as assigned by your internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of subscription in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data we collect when you subscribe to the newsletter is used exclusively for the purpose of promotional communication by way of the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending us a corresponding message. After you have unsubscribed, your e-mail address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list without delay, unless we can demonstrate an overriding interest in further processing within the meaning of Art. 31(2) FADP or a justification under law.

8) Data processing for order handling

8.1 As part of the performance of the contract, the personal data we collect is passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. As part of payment processing, we pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution, insofar as this is necessary for payment processing. Where payment service providers are used, we provide explicit information on this below.

8.2 Disclosure of personal data to delivery service providers

- Post CH
If the goods are delivered by the transport service provider Post CH (Schweizerische PostAG, Switzerland, Wankdorfallee 4, 3030 Bern), we pass on your address details and your e-mail address to Post CH before delivery of the goods for the purpose of arranging a delivery date or for delivery notification.

8.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

- Apple Pay
If you choose the “Apple Pay” payment method of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the “Apple Pay” function of your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored in “Apple Pay”. Apple Pay uses security features built into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, it is therefore necessary to enter a code previously set by you and to verify it using the “Face ID” or “Touch ID” function of your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay in order to execute the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm that the payment was successful.
Insofar as personal data is processed in the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing.
Apple retains anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Anonymisation completely rules out any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve “Apple Pay” and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorising device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the option to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and turn off "Allow Payments on Mac".

- Paypal
When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on invoice" or “payment in instalments” via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal") as part of payment processing. The data is passed on only insofar as this is necessary for payment processing.
PayPal reserves the right to carry out a credit check for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on invoice" or “payment in instalments” via PayPal. For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies on the basis of PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your solvency. PayPal uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of payment default for the purpose of deciding whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Use of YouTube videos
